Top Three Parks in Cincinnati

Top Three Parks in Cincinnati for Your Engagement Session

The one thing I love about Cincinnati is the beautiful outdoor locations for engagement sessions. Cincinnati has a park for every couples dream session. Here are my top three parks in Cincinnati for your engagement session.

George Rogers Clark Park

Technically, this park is located in Covington, Kentucky, but WHOA what a backdrop. George Rogers Clark Park is a hidden treasure located right on the riverfront. Paved with cobblestone streets and hobbit doors, this park has unique photo spots, but the real wow factor is the Cincinnati skyline. This park is perfectly positioned with the complete view of the Cincinnati skyline from the Reds Stadium down to the Bengals Stadium, you will see it all! The nighttime view is decorated with lights from the bridges and skyscrapers of our beautiful city. There is no fee to shoot here, however parking can be tricky as it only provides on street parking.

Sharon Woods Park

Located in Sharonville, Sharon Woods Park is the perfect spot for nature lovers. It is truly beautiful year round, but I feel its beauty is really highlighted in the fall. The park has hiking and biking trails, picnic shelters, playgrounds and plenty of open space nestled in the middle of sky high trees. Some of my favorites places in the park are the bridges, the waterfalls and of course the lake. Sunrise sessions on the lake are so dreamy. There is no fee at the moment to shoot inside the park, however, the historic village does require a photography pass. There is ample parking at both entrances of the park, and at times a parking pass has been needed.

Devou Park

Devou Park is just over the bridge in Covington, Kentucky. It is home to Drees Pavilion which has become a popular wedding venue in Cincinnati. Not only does this park have beautiful landscaping, but it is also known for one of the best city views in our ara. Devou also has some amazing stone pillars and arch ways which lead to ceremony locations. There is plenty of parking and currently there are no fees to enter.
